Customize the Acumatica Endpoint

Configure Acumatica web service endpoints for Stacksync.

Creating a dedicated Web Service Endpoint named StacksyncDefault is optional. Use it only when you want to customize the Acumatica objects and fields available in Stacksync instead of using the standard Default endpoint.

Create the endpoint

  1. In Acumatica, open Web Service Endpoints.

  2. Select the latest version of the Default endpoint.

Acumatica Web Service Endpoints list with the "Default" 24.200.001 endpoint highlighted
  3. Review the objects included in that endpoint.

Acumatica Default 24.200.001 endpoint with its list of included entities highlighted
  4. Click Extend Endpoint.

Acumatica Default 24.200.001 endpoint with the "Extend Endpoint" button highlighted
  5. In the dialog, enter:

    • Endpoint Name: StacksyncDefault

    • Endpoint Version: Use the current version or another valid version number

Acumatica "Extend Current Endpoint" dialog with Endpoint Name "StacksyncDefault" and Version "24.200.001"
  6. Click OK.

  7. Open the new StacksyncDefault endpoint and add, remove, or update the objects and fields required for your sync.

Acumatica Web Service Endpoints list with the new "StacksyncDefault" endpoint, based on Default 24.200.001, highlighted
  8. Save your changes.

Extending the endpoint creates a separate configuration. It does not modify the original Default endpoint.

Endpoint selection for two-way sync

When using two-way sync, Stacksync selects:

  1. The latest version of StacksyncDefault
  2. The latest version of Default when StacksyncDefault is not available

For example, when these endpoints exist:

  • Default β€” 24.200.001
  • StacksyncDefault β€” 23.200.001
  • StacksyncDefault β€” 24.200.001

Stacksync uses StacksyncDefault version 24.200.001.

Endpoint configuration for Agentic Workflows is handled separately within each workflow step.
